Clear Skin Cleanser contains 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide which allows oxygen into the pores making it incredibly beneficial in the treatment of acne.

An acne blemish is simply a combination of oil, dead skin and bacteria that builds up in the follicle and causes inflammation, turning into a closed comedone. Bacteria cannot survive in the presence of oxygen—making benzoyl peroxide the perfect ingredient for clearing and preventing future breakouts.

Skin Wash is recommended for clients with dry acneic skin as well as treating stubborn Acne Grades 3 and 4. It’s also very effective in treating body acne and is safe to use on the back , chest & shoulders.

In the treatment room, this cleanser is recommended as a second cleanse. Use one pump (1/4 tsp) and work it into a nice lather and cleanse the face, neck and décolleté for 2 – 3 minutes and then remove with warm, damp facial cloths.

At home, this cleanser can be used morning and evening. If excessive drying occurs reduce use of this cleanser to just once a day. Dispense ¼ tsp and work it into a nice lather and cleanse the face, neck and décolleté gently for 2 – 3 minutes and remove with tepid water. Follow with an application of your recommended GlyMed Plus finishing products and sunscreen.
